About Hometown Insurance Agency

Our story began in 1979, when my father, Dan Weber Sr. opened our first independent insurance agency after several successful years at Allstate. Originally founded as The Dan Weber Insurance Center, we had expanded so much that in 1984 we opened up our West Islip office. In the late 1980s, we adopted the name we proudly operate under today- Hometown Insurance Agency.

Over the years, we’ve grown through dedication, hard work, and the trust of our clients. As we expanded, we welcomed several other agencies into our family, including the Ferraro Associates of Babylon, NY. This brought in Chick and Peter Ferraro, as well as long-standing clients who remain with us to this day.

Today, we're proud to be recognized as one of Long Island’s premier insurance agencies, serving thousands of clients across New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. While our reach has grown, our heart remains local. We're deeply rooted in the community, and we’re committed to providing personalized service, competitive rates, and honest guidance.
